Sacra Terra: Angelic Night is a hidden object game with a horror theme. Everything in the story is shrouded in mystery. You wake up in a hospital with little knowledge of how you got there. The only hint you get is in the cinematic when you begin the game: you see a man pushing a stretcher into a room, and after that you see some demonic figures and images. The story then unfolds bit by bit as you play on through the game and discover new information on how you got there and who you are.
Like in every hidden object game, you go from area to area and find certain things that will help you advance further into the game. Sacra Terra: Angelic Night has two difficulty settings: Casual, and Expert. The main difference between them is that in the casual mode you have a Hint button that recharges faster , and a lot of the objects sparkle, thus making them easier to spot.
I really liked the gameplay because you have a lot of cinematics and cut-scenes. This is not common in hidden object games, however, this game has a lot of them. They are well done and better explain the story as well as interacting with other characters in the game.
The artwork is very nice and together with the sounds and music it creates a very well done horror environment. The lighting is dim and you can see that it's night outside, and once in a while a demonic figure will appear which definitely adds up to the horror aspect of the game.
Sacra Terra: Angelic Night is definitely a good game for those looking for a game to solve a great mystery and getting scared in the process.
